Vivek is the founder of Brickwork. He has over 25 years of experience in managing different verticals of Business and Government Departments. Prior to Brickwork, he was the IT (Information Technology) Secretary, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore. During his tenure in Government service he was instrumental in building world-class IT & Biotech institutes and events in Karnataka. He promoted public-private partnership in Governance. He worked actively in marketing Bangalore at the International level. He has been nominated as a public interest director on the Board of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the oldest exchange in India.

A scholar, Vivek has taught Advanced Finance, Money & Banking, Investment Management, International Business to the management students in US and India. He was a Finance Professor at the Boston University and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
